Speakers

Clifford Rosen, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. An endocrinologist and bone biologist, he is the former president of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and has had active NIH funding in bone diseases for nearly thirty years.

 

Connie Weaver, PhD, is a Distinguished Research Professor at San Diego State University in San Diego, Calif. She is a nutrition scientist who studies nutrition and osteoporosis prevention. She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and former member of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans Advisory Committee. She is a past president of the American Society for Nutrition.
