This webinar will provide attendees with step-by-step instructions on how to operationalize dietitian order writing privileges in their facility. Breaking down and reviewing the nuts and bolts of completing a key-stakeholder analysis, writing an executive summary, and creating a plan and timeline for implementation.
In addition, specific details for determining appropriate delegation privileges language, creating appropriate competencies and ensuring safety through a stream-lined audit system will be shared. The goal of this session is to provide Clinical Nutrition Managers with the clear and concise education and tools they will need to safely and appropriately operationalize dietitian order writing in their facility.

Robin Aufdenkampe, MS, RDN, CD, FAND is the System Director of Food and Nutrition Services at Intermountain Healthcare, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and serves as the President of the Utah Academy Affiliation. Robin has over two decades of clinical nutrition, management and leadership experience. Robin obtained her bachelor's in Dietetics from Ohio University and her master's in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University.
Kathryn Kauffman, MS, RD, CD, was the Clinical Nutrition Manager and at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah for 25 years. She is currently working as the Clinical Nutrition System Project Lead for Intermountain Healthcare and is a member of the Intermountain Clinical Nutrition Guidance Council. She also has experience as an inpatient clinical dietitian specializing in renal disease. Kathryn obtained her bachelor's in Dietetics and Food Administration from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and her master's in Science and Nutrition from San Diego State University.
