Culinary Nutrition: Food as a Key Component of Nutrition as a training module is designed to help registered dietitian nutritionists and nutrition and dietitics technician, registered develop competency in the culinary nutrition area of practice. Module 1 will demonstrate the impact of food and basic cooking skills on healthy eating practices. We will review what you may already know about food trends and cooking basics and emphasize how these skills can be useful in a variety of practice settings. You will learn practical food skills that will equip you to enhance your nutrition message.

The course includes pdf files of the speaker presentations and handouts as well as a downloadable CPE certificate.

The Certificate of Training program consists of four separate modules that build on each other. To receive the certificate associated with this training, all four modules and related tests must first be completed and a subsequent final post test exam in Module 4 must be passed with a minimum of an 80% in order to receive the Certificate of Training. The Certificate of Training can then be downloaded and printed from the site.
