Culinary demonstrations enable RDNs to communicate nutrition information to consumers, entertain audiences, teach basic or advanced cooking skills, and showcase healthy recipes that are affordable, easy to prepare at home, and flavorful. Being able to hone in on the specific audience demographic is critical to ensure you speak directly to them in relation to their interests, preferred method of communication, and learning styles. During this session, three culinary RDNs will teach attendees how to create and carry out a dynamic cooking demonstration for four different age demographics: kids (Generation Z), Millennials, Generation X, and Baby Boomers.
