This session offers strategies to identify and assess low energy availability and energy deficiency in athletes. Significant discussion of the differences in low energy availability versus energy deficiency will be discussed and the pitfalls of each measure will be discussed. Practical translational tools and valuable strategies will be provided to assess these measures in the dietitians office.
