This module will explore the dynamic relationship between leadership, coaching and mentoring. Through a series of exercises, participants will identify how effective leaders provide varied means of mentoring and coaching to others, including employees, colleagues and even supervisors at times. The participant will learn how mentoring and coaching enhance and inform one's leadership style.

- Define and explain the similarities and differences in mentoring and coaching in relation to leadership and management.
- Describe personal characteristics and core values of effective mentors/coaches, and identify how their core leadership characteristics align with their style of mentoring/coaching.
- Discuss the key skills of mentoring including: interacting, listening, connecting and establishing boundaries to become equipped for valuable mentoring/coaching experiences.

The Certificate of Training program consists of four separate modules that build on each other. To receive the certificate associated with this training, all four modules and related tests must first be completed and a subsequent final post test exam in Module 4 must be passed with a minimum of an 80% in order to receive the Certificate of Training. The Certificate of Training can then be downloaded and printed from the site.
