FDA will continue to provide updates on the new law via their website. Overall, this module will cover the legislative background which led to the enactment of the national nutrition disclosure law in retail eating establishments and restaurants. In addition, the module will cover the details of the law including what has been released thus far by FDA regarding timing and implementation. Finally, The module will also cover emerging trends that could impact the restaurant industry on a national level. Currently, many of the trends that will be discussed are at the state and/or local level.
