This session is for FNCE® attendees who love writing about food and nutrition, but have not yet cracked the code on generating income from their skills and expertise in this area. The speakers will help attendees find their unique voice and writing style, and offer tangible tips to identify the media outlets for them. They will also drop knowledge from a combined 30 years of experience as professional writers and editors, including real talk on writing for free, the responsibility of being an influential voice in media, plus the upside and very real downside of different writing projects - from books to consumer articles and many in between. Attendees will leave with actionable advice on building a professional writing portfolio and crafting a quality pitch.
