The effects of Hurricanes Maria and Irma in 2017 left much of Puerto Rico without power, clean water, and nutrition. In this panel session, you will hear from experts in the fields of clinical nutrition, public health, foodservice, and agriculture on how these natural disasters have affected the populations' overall nutrition. The nutrition implications of the continued efforts in Puerto Rico on food safety and access, farming, eating behaviors, and more will be discussed.
