Innovative farmers and RDNs are resetting the table and the outcome is wonderfully delicious, good-for-you food. Together, they are combating food insecurity and bringing greater transparency and accountability to our food supply. Two compelling food stories will demonstrate that it takes a village (or big city) of solutions to put fresh, delicious and healthful foods on Americans' tables. Green Gate Farms, a certified organic farm in Austin, Texas, and AeroFarms, the largest indoor vertical farm in the world located in Newark, N.J., will share an in-depth look at their agricultural practices. Through "grow and tell" stories, they will demonstrate and equip RDNs with the tools needed to build sustainable, resilient food secure communities.
