Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services leadership via video along with the Academy's IMPACT Taskforce will provide an overview and global perspective on IMPACT (Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation) ACT of 2014. A review of the 2017-2020 implementation of the CMS measure domains to be standardized will be discussed. Taskforce Co-Chairs will provide RDN and NDTR practitioners with tips and tools on the application of the Act. Participants will be asked to discuss various nutrition interventions/discharge plans that deliver quality and value as well as methods for reporting of standardized clinical assessment and outcomes data by Post-Acute Care providers - Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities, and Long-Term Care Hospitals.
