Reducing food waste in schools is not (and should not be) a one size fits all solution. Each school district and school building will need to determine which programmatic changes make the most sense for students, staff and administration. This session will provide an in-depth look at the USDA model for reducing pre-consumer waste and explore the K-12 practical application of reducing food waste.
