Our training doesn't prepare us to directly ask for money for services, so dietitians and dietetic technicians who present educational programs may struggle to price our services appropriately. In this webinar, BHN past-chair Jessica Setnick will share strategies she's developed over 21 years as a dietitian speaker for pricing and adding value when pitching yourself for a speaking engagement. She'll also cover how you can make a free presentation pay off with additional options for making money.

Jessica A. Setnick, MS, RDN, LD, CEDRD-S
Jessica Setnick rose to the top of the speaker list in the eating disorder treatment field thanks to her unique viewpoint, her skill at communicating challenging topics and her ability to connect with audiences large and small. But none of that helped her make a living until she learned to price, value and negotiate for herself. Jessica put 21 years of speaking experience into A Dietitian's Guide to Professional Speaking and is now branching out into speaker coaching for dietitians. She currently works from home in Dallas, Texas, where she supervises dietitians working on their CEDRD credential and consults by phone on challenging cases.
