Nutrition professionals have a unique opportunity to demonstrate how medical nutrition therapy (MNT) can help solve nutrition problems during breastfeeding. This session will provide up to date knowledge on trends related to breastfeeding in public health settings in the US and emerging nutrition care patterns and outcomes in dyads (lactating parent and infant). Attendees will walk away from this session with increased competency in best practices on how to systematically measure the impact of MNT in the practice area of lactation.
