In this session, attendees will delve into the professional trajectories of registered dietitians nutritionists and nutrition and dietetics technicians, registered from three distinct sectors who have proactively championed their career advancement. Participants will gain practical knowledge on utilizing self-advocacy for opportunities like promotions and salary negotiations.
The focus is on inspiring RDNs and NDTRs to aspire beyond their existing roles towards future leadership positions, fostering an environment of influence and transformative change. The session also seeks to empower RDNs and NDTRs to actively shape their career paths by offering invaluable strategies, tools, and resources. These encompass self-advocacy, locating meaningful mentors and supporters, and effectively conveying their professional value.
