Comprehensive Care for Binge Eating Disorder: Best Practices and New Approaches

Your Price $10.00 - $54.00

Patients with Binge Eating Disorder (BED) often pursue eating disorder treatment, yet may not receive specialized therapeutic, dietary or medical support. Our presenters examine current best practices in the diagnosis and treatment of BED, including the importance of decreasing bias, increasing compassion and addressing internalized weight stigma (regardless of body size).

Additionally, our presenters discuss new approaches to nutritional assessment and intervention, including the Nutrition-Focused Physical Exam and meal planning. The presentation also include an exploration of medical complications frequently associated with BED and how these can be addressed. Using a transdisciplinary approach – patients with BED can be effectively supported while developing a more peaceful relationship with food/body and moving toward overall health.
