Holly Estes Doetsch, MS, RD, LD

Holly holds two master's degrees in exercise and sport science and nutrition from the University of Utah. She has 10 years of clinical experience and has worked with pediatric and adult patients. She has served as faculty in the Medical Dietetics division with the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University where she also holds appointments in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition and at the Nisonger Center. She has presented student education on NFPE, prevalence of pediatric malnutrition using NHANES data, and micronutrient management in gastroenterology at the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo. Holly is an external consultant for Abbott Health and Nutrition Institute.

Lindsay Dowhan, MS, RD, LD, CNSC, CCTD

Speaker

Lindsay Dowhan has worked as a clinical dietitian for over 15 years and is currently employed as an Advanced Clinical Practice Dietitian in a large teaching hospital. She started her career working in nutrition support and has been working with the transplant population since 2014. She actively participates in precepting dietetic interns, residents and fellows. Recently, Lindsay has become a certified clinical transplant dietitian and has been a trainer with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ NFPE program since 2015.

Irissa Fletcher, MS, RDN, LD, CNSC

Speaker

Irissa Fletcher is an inpatient clinical dietitian nutritionist at University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center, where she works with various patient populations across disease states. She is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician and serves as the primary Neuroscience Unit intensive care dietitian. Irissa is an NFPE trainer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Additionally, she is highly involved in UH's dietetic internship orientation and is a preceptor for their critical care rotation.

Irissa received her bachelor's degree at the University of Akron and completed a coordinated master's degree/dietetic internship at Case Western Reserve University/UH Cleveland Medical Center.

Alicia Gilmore, MS, RD, CSO, LD, CNSC

Alicia Gilmore is a clinical instructor for the Clinical Nutrition Master's Program and a clinical preceptor in the Department of Clinical Nutrition in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texan Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center. She provides MNT for patients with ALS, multiple system atrophy, Parkinson's disease, inborn errors of metabolism, as well as other chronic diseases. Alicia has been a dietitian for over 20 years and a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology, as well as an Academy NFPE Workshop trainer.

Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Oklahoma State University.

Beth Mordarski, RDN, LD

Beth is the manager of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' NFPE Program. Her background is in clinical dietetics with over 20 years of experience ranging from a community hospital, long-term acute care center, to practicing inpatient and outpatient at an academic medical center in Cleveland, Ohio. This experience assisted Beth in the development of the Academy's NFPE Hands-on Training Workshop, where she continues to train and educate RDNs, interns and students across the United States and globally.

Heather is the lead registered dietitian nutritionist and Cortrak tube placement team leader at the Cone Health System in Greensboro, N.C. She is a Nutrition Focused Physical Exam trainer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Heather graduated from Western Carolina University with her bachelor's degree in nutrition and dietetics and is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician.

Kristen Roberts, PhD, RD, LD, CNSC, FASPEN

Speaker

Kristen is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at The Ohio State University. She is the lead clinical instructor for the clinical curriculum development for the new Master's in Dietetics and Nutrition. She holds a joint appointment in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition where she co-manages a micronutrient service for medical providers and patients. Kristen has also contributed to national presentations on micronutrient assessment and repletion and is co-editing a handbook on micronutrient repletion strategies for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also an associate editor for Nutrition in Clinical Practice.

Ashley Strickland, RDN, LDN, CNSC

Ashley Strickland is the Adult Clinical Dietitian Supervisor and Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Dietitian at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C. Throughout her career, she has focused on critical care, complex GI patients, and nutrition support. Ashley is an expert on malnutrition at her hospital, where she trains clinicians on how to complete an NFPE and works with the clinical informatics team on coding and billing initiatives related to malnutrition. Ashley is an NFPE trainer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and she sits on ASPEN’s Reimbursement Malnutrition Task Force, providing guidance on malnutrition denial cases, at a national level.
