Drew Hemler (he/him) is a Canadian-American specializing in instructional design, communications, and education technologies. With a master's in adult education and over a decade of experience in program development, Drew has a knack for turning big, often intimidating topics into something practical, empowering, and fun.

Practicing dietetics across Ontario, Canada and the U.S., he's collaborated with Microsoft Canada, TELUS Health, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to support evidence-based, tech-informed approaches in healthcare, employee training, and professional development. Whether he's building a slide deck, facilitating a workshop or webinar, or navigating a conference Q&A, Drew brings a blend of curiosity, humility, humor, and care to the conversation.

Drew is concluding his 3-year term on the Academy's Committee for Lifelong Learning, beginning his elected appointment on the Academy's National Nominating Committee, and continuing his lifelong commitment as a proud Fellow of our Academy.
