Couples attempting conception, including couples undergoing medical treatment for infertility, are exposed to extensive information from lay sources offering diet advice and are marketed numerous supplements promising to improve fertility. Many of these recommendations, however, do not align with the state of the science of this topic and in some occasions directly contradict our current understanding of the relation between nutrition and fertility. This webinar will provide an overview of the relation between nutrition and fertility (as it relates to females, males and couples undergoing infertility treatment) while highlighting nutritional factors that may not be fully appreciated in their ability to improve fertility as well as questions frequently asked by fertility patients.
This webinar was presented live on November 17, 2022. The CPE associated with this activity expires on 05/31/2024.
