In this session, learn why and how to lead in a way that centers equity, prioritizes inclusion, and advances diversity in our field. The presentation will include discussion and case examples specific to the field of dietetics. Attendees will start by building a strong foundation, one that prioritizes addressing bias, increasing self-awareness and improving cultural knowledge. Presenters will then discuss the characteristics of inclusive leaders and the components of an inclusive climate. Finally, attendees will put it all together to learn strategies to lead change at every level and cultivate equitable systems that impact their communities and colleagues.
