Low protein diets are recommended for people with CKD, yet many people with CKD also have indications for a higher protein diet. This debate will compare the evidence and justification behind protein recommendations for CKD vs. evidence for higher protein recommendations. Participants will leave more equipped to think critically about individual protein recommendations for patients with CKD and potentially higher protein needs - especially older adults, critically ill and for obesity management.
