Learning Objectives

1. Identify key scope of practice, regulatory, legal, and ethics issues that guide and inform dietary supplement (DS) use in practice.
2. Develop a safety and risk management framework for practitioner and client decision making for DS use.
3. Identify key learning and communication needs for client informed decision making for DS use.
4. Develop a critical thinking framework for assessing quality, purity, and identity of DS.

The Certificate of Training program consists of five separate modules that build on each other. To receive the certificate associated with this training, all five modules and related tests must first be completed and a subsequent final post test exam in Module 5 must be passed with a minimum of an 80% in order to receive the Certificate of Training. The Certificate of Training can then be downloaded and printed from the site.
