Your Price $0.00 - $54.00

Date: October 23
Time: noon-1 p.m. (Central time)

This session will equip dietitians with a clear, evidence-based understanding of food allergy and sensitivity testing to guide informed clinical practice. We will review the range of diagnostic tools currently in use, from validated methods like skin prick and serum IgE testing to unvalidated commercial food sensitivity tests, and examine how accuracy of diagnostic testing is determined and why these metrics matter when deciding whether results should guide patient care.

Attendees will explore current research comparing different testing methods, with a focus on clinical implications, ethical considerations, and patient communication. The goal is to help RDs critically evaluate testing claims, avoid unnecessary dietary restrictions, and confidently lead nutrition care based on sound science. This presentation is designed to strengthen your clinical decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and reaffirm your authority in guiding evidence-based nutrition interventions.
