Liz is a clinical nutrition manager and dietetic internship director at UCSF Health. Liz has a BS in English but fell in love with food and went on to get an MS in Nutrition at Bastyr University. Liz is passionate about connecting people and systems within the healthcare system to provide better patient outcomes. That passion drove them to lead the development and implementation of the Nutrition Care Process and lead the DTR team to work at the top of their scope.

Speaker: From Clinician to Leader: Empowering RDNs with the Skills to Build Strong, Connected Teams

Julia Axelbaum is the Director of Clinical Nutrition at Form Health, a leading virtual obesity medicine clinic. A board-certified specialist in obesity and weight management, she is a national expert in evidence-based obesity care. Julia began her career in bariatrics, later launching a non-surgical medical weight loss program before joining Form Health in 2019 as its first employee. She has since built a nationwide team of obesity-specialized RDs and developed a comprehensive virtual nutrition program. Julia earned her degree from NYU and completed her clinical training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital.
