The landscape of CF nutrition drastically shifted with the emergence of gene modulators. Patient challenges of weight gain, body image, and lack of nutrition knowledge have come to the forefront of the CF dietitian's practice. Handling such challenges requires CF RD's to gain a variety of skill sets. The purpose of this article is to provide effective tools and resources to increase the CF RD's knowledge and proficiency to be equipped to handle these new nutrition-related difficulties. We also seek to challenge the assessment of nutrition health from the narrow lens of weight to include a broader picture of healthy behaviors and a healthy mindset.
