Todd W. Rice, M.D., M.Sc.
Dr. Todd Rice is an Associate Professor of Medicine with tenure in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Vice President for Clinical Trials Innovation and Operations for the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). He currently serves as the director of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Medical ICU and as a co-director of the Learning Healthcare System platform of the Vanderbilt Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA). Dr. Rice has published numerous practice-changing multicenter clinical trials in critical care nutrition. He has been continually funded by the NIH since 2005. He is a past president of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and currently serves on the board of advisors for ASPEN.
