Alicia Grove is a Nutrition Program Consultant at Colorado Department of Education, School Nutrition Unit. Within School Nutrition she oversees food safety, charter schools, professional standards, Residential Child Care Institutions, and new School Food Authorities. She leads Administrative Reviews (essentially audits of school meal programs) and is an integral part of the training team. Alicia designs online trainings, coordinates regular program webinars, develops training materials, and evaluates school nutrition training impact. Alicia came to Denver from Fort Collins where she completed her MS in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a focus on Community Nutrition at Colorado State University. She is originally from Richmond, VA and worked in clinical research at VCU Massey Cancer Center for several years. Alicia completed her BA in psychology from the University of Virginia. She has been involved with the Academy as the Student Committee Chair for the PHCNPG and the Student Representative for ANDPAC. Alicia is currently the Policy and Advocacy Leader for PHCNPG. In her free time Alicia enjoys running, trying new recipes, reading, exploring Colorado, skiing, hiking, and reducing food waste!

Fallon Bader is a registered dietitian, avid cook, and entrepreneur. She owns a business, the Sprouting Kitchen, where they host cooking classes outside on local farms, in health clinics, and online virtually. She is passionate about making local food more accessible to everyone. She is also passionate about equipping people with the skills to make delicious meals and helping people connect by using food at the medium. Fallon is the current chair for the Hunger and Environmental (HEN) DPG, where she loves connecting with HEN members! Her favorite part of being a HEN members is definitely getting to meet like-minded RDs who care about sustainability and equity in our food system! She lives in the beautiful high desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Yen Ang (DrPH, MS, MPH, RD) directs SNAP-Ed, the largest federal nutrition education program at a local health department. Her work focuses on coalition building to drive high- impact collective solutions for collective problems. She founded the award-winning Food Rescue Anti-Hunger Coalition. Despite all the pandemic-imposed restrictions, she grew the network from 30 to 500 participants that present more than 250 organizations. Her relentless effort to end hunger earned her the Woman of the Year award in 2021 by the California State Assembly majority leader Reyes. Yen's ability to work across agencies, sectors and even political ideologies speaks volume of her commitment to diversity. She believes her multicultural background coupled with strong nutrition science give her the winning edge in leading innovative solutions for the pains and health inequities faced by the communities of colors. When she is not busy fighting to end hunger and inequity, Yen enjoys quiet time with her 2 dogs, teenage daughter and husband at home.
