Water Insecurity and Nutrition in Mexican American Communities

Total water and sugar-sweetened beverage intake are concurrent public health priorities in Mexican-American communities. Both of these issues may share a common driver: water security and safety. This presentation will examine historical and present-day water security and safety concerns faced by the Mexican-American community, as well as the potential effects.
