Katie is a registered dietitian with over 16 years of experience working with patients who have cancer and 12 years specializing in blood and marrow transplant (BMT). She received a bachelor's degree in Nutrition Sciences at Washington State University, obtained a Master's of Science (MS) in Nutrition and completed an accredited internship through Colorado State University. She is a Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC).

Katie currently works at the University of Colorado Hospital as an inpatient RD covering medical oncology, gynecological oncology and bone and marrow transplant services. She assesses and develops nutrition plans for patients before, during, and after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplants (HSCT). Additionally, Katie assists in the management of gastrointestinal Graft vs Host Disease (GVHD) by creating individualized nutrition plans to minimize symptoms and promote healing of the gastrointestinal tract. Katie has successfully been able to change practice at UCH to implement enteral nutrition as first line of nutrition support in patients undergoing HSCT.

Kylie Chen is a BMT dietitian at Stanford Healthcare Cancer Center. After completing her dietetic internship at the Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland VA, she began working as an inpatient dietitian specializing in BMT. Since then, she has transitioned to outpatient BMT care where she has trialed and implemented education classes. Her clinical interest is optimizing nutrition for the BMT patient population.

Peter Adintori has been a research dietitian on the adult bone marrow transplant service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City for five years. His research has centered around both dietary influences on the gut microbiome during allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and opportunities for prehabilitation and rehabilitation during treatment for hematologic malignancies. Peter is a board certified specialist in oncology nutrition and a certified nutrition support clinician. Peter is also an adjunct clinical professor and PhD student at New York University in Rehabilitation Sciences, where he is investigating the role of nutrition, physical therapy, and mental health in improving outcomes and quality of life in patients with hematologic malignancies. Peter is also an outpatient oncology and GI diseases specialist dietitian for Culina Health, where he provides telemedicine care.

Joy Heimgartner has been a clinical dietitian at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota since 2008, and for the past thirteen years has been the primary dietitian for the hospital-based outpatient Blood & Marrow Transplant program. She is an Advanced Practice Level 2 dietitian and Assistant Professor of Nutrition in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine & Science. In addition to full time patient care, Joy is involved in medical trainee education, clinical research, writing and dietitian mentoring. At Mayo Clinic she has led initiatives to update food safety practices and led the build and implementation of the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment electronically in the Epic electronic health record. She is an active volunteer with the Blood & Marrow Transplant subunit of the Oncology Dietetic Practice Group (DPG) of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. Joy is also a hobby beekeeper who enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband.

Erin Schmidt has worked at Fred Hutch in the outpatient Blood and Marrow Transplant clinic for over 15 years. In addition to her role as a primary dietitian for the adult allogeneic team, she covers the Transitional Transplant and Long Term Follow Up Clinics. While Erin spends much of her time in acute outpatient care, she has a special interest in chronic complications and transplant survivorship. Erin is also involved with clinical research at Fred Hutch and volunteer work with the Blood & Marrow Transplant subunit of the Oncology Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. Outside of work, she enjoys sailing, swimming, skiing, and spending time with her family in the Pacific Northwest.

Tara Coghlin-Dickson has been a clinician, researcher, and educator at Stanford University Medical Center in Clinical Nutrition and Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) for over 30 years. Committed to BMT Nutrition and RD specialty practice, she founded ON DPG's BMT Subunit, Chaired ON DPG's BMT Nutrition Pre-Symposium in 2022 and 2024 and has worked with ON DPG's Executive Committee since 2018. She was recipient of ON DPG's 2023 Distinguished Service Award and co-recipient of the J. Patrick Barnes Grant through The Daisy Foundation for Blood and Marrow Transplant research. She served on SCAN's Executive Committee as Chair, Nominating Committee Chair, Content Expert for SCAN's 32nd Symposium, Director of Member Services, and SD-USA volunteer. Tara was the recipient of the 2014 SCAN Excellence in Practice Award. She has original publications, coauthored a book, contributed to numerous articles, and presented at regional and national conferences.
