A variety of practice examples and emerging opportunities for future nephrology nutrition practice are included.

Speakers

Judy Kirk, MS, RDN, LD, FNKF

Judy Kirk–40+ years as an RDN, 18 years in nephrology nutrition, more recently ~2 years in transplantation. held offices on national level with NKF Council on Renal Nutrition for 8 years including Chair and Regional Representative. Part of joint projects between RPG and CRN for SOP/SOPP, revision of Clinical Guide to Nutrition Care in Kidney Disease and National Kidney Diet.

Rory Pace, MPH, RD, CSR, FAND

Rory Pace has nearly 25 years of experience in nephrology nutrition and is currently Senior Director of Nutrition Services at Satellite Healthcare. She has held a number of leadership roles in the Academy and National Kidney Foundation and currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Renal Dietitians Practice Group and is a member of the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings planning committee. Rory also serves as Vice-Chair of the Academy's Council on Future Practice.

Rory and Judy are the authors of the 2020 Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance in Nephrology Nutrition.
