This CPE self-study activity is one of four modules which is intended to assist nutrition and dietetics practitioners in the comprehension of the Code of Ethics for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession. The case studies featured in Module 1 are intended to demonstrate potential ethical dilemmas as they relate to nutrition counseling, authorship, product endorsement, limitations of individual qualifications, hiring, interpreting and communicating research, and personal bias. Each case study includes points to consider and a quiz to assess the reader's knowledge.
