The Instructor's Resource Kit is comprised of these key parts:
- An Instructor's Resource Manual provides practical advice for implementing Culture, Foodways & Counseling in a dedicated course or across the curriculum for undergraduate or graduate level classes. The Resource Manual is divided into 11 sections that mirror the layout of the textbook. Each section contains learning objectives, key concepts, discussion prompts, and critical thinking questions. The Resource Manual also includes a sample syllabus along with suggested performance indicators and competencies for the activities and projects.
- Three in-class learning activities and two project assignments are provided as fully customizable Word documents. Instructions for the educator also include grading rubrics and suggested competencies.
